One nice perk of a new baby is all of the free meals. We haven’t had to cook in a week or more.

First Days at Home
Well even though I love having all the nurses’ help at the hospital, it is good to be home. I’m loving having Kyle home. It is so nice! He and Abigail are having a lot of fun together going out on outings- yesterday they went to library storytime, today they went to Skinner Butte Park.
Today is a good sleep day. Kyle and I are taking shifts at night so we can get some sleep. And when it was time for Kyle’s shift, Andrew finally went to sleep! So Kyle got lots of sleep. I am just putting sleep first and sleeping when the baby sleeps as much as possible. The house looks like a tornado hit at times but I figure sanity is more important than a clean house:)
Abigail is doing great. It’s a little sad and bittersweet seeing her having to shift from being the baby to the older sibling. She is having to be so grown up and brave at times. But she loves her baby Andrew so that’s what matters most.
Here are some pictures of the last few days:
Andrew loves looking at Abigail’s old Dora poster. We used to have Abigail look at it when she was a newborn:

Hanging out with big sis in her room. Abigail was reading him some of her many books:

Forgot how great it is to be able to leave them laying somewhere without fear of them falling off the ledge.
