We are in sunriver the four of us for a few days. We biked this morning for about an hour- me and Andrew on bicycle for two and Abby on her scooter, they did great. Someone whined a little but then stopped after a bit and then we had a great ride
Then we ate lunch. Cream cheese and jam sandwiches. We made a quick trip to fort rock park- Abby did swings, Andrew and Kyle played baseball
Then we went on a hike to a waterfall. It was hot . About 90 degrees. And there were bugs. Abby hated the bugs
Then we got ice cream at goody’s, went back to house, I played baseball with kids. Andrew has an amazing attention span for baseball- he will play forever. After about an hour we stopped to set table for dinner. Kyle made quinoa with lime , cilantro, red onion and bell peppers. He also made kale salad with homemade croutons. Delicious! Then I made popcorn ( with nutritional yeast, their fav) and the kids and Kyle watched a little of twilight zone.

He is very interested in the subject of death and heaven lately. He is sure growing up.

Andrew did his very first camp this week with his sister. Their first camp together

Kyle and I celebrated our 9 year anniversary this week with the kids at Turtles where we had our first date 11 years ago:)

Dance recital day!

Abigail as a diamond in her dance recital tonight:

She did great and had a blast. She’s come so far in a year. No more stage fright for this girl. She was first in line and in front on stage. So proud of my confident girl!

Here are my cuties at an egg hunt:

This month Abigail was in Aladdin , her first big play. She was amazing. She had 3 lines and was in 4 scenes. She was a citizen of Agrabah and a princess. She sang Welcome to Agrabah, A Whole New World and When You Wish Upon a Star. We are so proud of her. A mom came up to me that had seen the show and just told me how impressed she was seeing Abigail up there calmly saying her lines. The director commented on how much progress she made. She went from being shy and afraid to shining. She said she never saw a beginner know their lines as good as Abigail did. I think she can memorize easily like Daddy. I cried at the end of her last two performances. I was just so proud watching my girl up on that stage having a blast -especially since I know how she started- afraid and not wanting to try. It was amazing to watch her overcome stage fright and do a total 180. She went from being afraid to try to a shining star up on that stage smiling and filled with joy. Andrew got a lot out of it too. He memorized all the songs and all of Abby’s lines and he saw her perform in 3 of the 4 shows and cried when he couldn’t go to the 4th. Kyle took him to Putter’s to cheer him.

The kids are constantly singing songs from the play and saying lines from the play throughout the day. What an amazing experience.

Abigail had her first piano concert this week. She was amazing!

She performed in the Nutcracker for the first time last night! She loved it! Here is Abby in costume:

Is she happy or what?! She loves her pink roses, she has them by her bed.

This past weekend we went to Cornelius for Bella ‘s birthday. Here are all the cousins:)

They were ages 5,4,3,2 and 1 but now Bella is 3 like Andrew.
